This Licensing Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which any content, designs, digital products, or intellectual property belonging to Loops of Colour® may be used by third parties. All requests and uses are subject to approval by the Company and must comply with this policy and applicable laws.

1. Ownership of Content

All artwork, product designs, digital downloads, patterns, branding materials, and website content are the intellectual property of Loops of Colour®, or are used under license from third-party rights holders. These works are protected by copyright, trademark, and design law in the United Kingdom and internationally.

2. Personal Use

Unless otherwise stated, all purchases and content from Loops of Colour® are for personal, non-commercial use only. Users may not share, resell, or redistribute any content, either digitally or physically, without prior written permission from the Company.

3. Commercial Use

Use of any Loops of Colour® content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

• Resale of physical or digital products incorporating original designs

• Use in brand collaborations, retail, or editorial campaigns

• Publication in magazines, blogs, or social media for business gain requires a formal license agreement. Requests must be submitted to hello@loopsofcolourdesign.com and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

4. Educational and Editorial Use

Loops of Colour® may grant limited, non-exclusive licenses for educational, academic, or editorialpurposes, including features in magazines, books, exhibitions, or talks. These licenses:

• Must include proper attribution to “Loops of Colour®”

• Must not alter the original work without written permission

• May be revoked at any time if the terms are breached

All such requests must be submitted in writing to the Company for prior approval.

5. Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited without a license:

• Reproduction or resale of digital or printed designs

• Uploading patterns or designs to third-party platforms (e.g., Etsy, Pinterest, stock sites)

• Using any content to create derivative works for sale

• Misrepresenting content as one’s own or falsely affiliating with Loops of Colour

• Incorporating artwork or branding into AI training datasets or machine-generated content

Any unauthorised use of Loops of Colour’s intellectual property may result in legal action.

6. Attribution

Where a license has been granted for any public or editorial use, the following attribution must be included (unless otherwise agreed):

“Design by Loops of Colour® – www.loopsofcolourdesign.com”

All requests will be reviewed individually, and a response will be provided within 7–10 business days.
